Contracting

Three contractors are bidding to fix a broken fence at
the White House in DC:

One is from New Jersey , another is from Tennessee
and the third, is from Florida.

All three go with a White House official to examine
the fence.

The Florida contractor takes out a tape measure and
does some measuring, then works some figures with
a pencil. ‘Well,’ he says, ‘I figure the job will run about
$900: $400 for materials, $400 for my crew and $100
profit for me.’

The Tennessee contractor also does some measuring
and figuring, then says, ‘I can do this job for $700: $300
for materials, $300 for my crew and $100 profit for me.’

The New Jersey contractor doesn’t measure or figure, but
leans over to the White House official and whispers,
‘$2,700.’

The official, incredulous, says, ‘You didn’t even measure
like the other guys!

How did you come up with such a high figure?’

The New Jersy contractor whispers back, ‘$1000 for me,
$1000 for you, and we hire the guy from Tennessee to
fix the fence.’

‘Done!’ replies the government official.

And that, my friends, is how government contracting
works!

What goes through the mind of the hard core liberals? What drives these people to be so far out of touch with reality and live in some sort of dream world? I think is a reaction to not being able to cope with life. I have read a few hard core liberal blogs and there seems to be a theme. Personal trauma or tragedy early in childhood or as a young adult seems to be the connecting link. There seems to be an inability to place blame where it lies and move on with life, they seem to want a solution where there is none. They look for excuses, someone other than themselves or the responsible party to blame. They can’t let go of past failures and they blame the system or society for failures that are personal in nature. There is something disturbing about someone who can’t let go of being pushed down on a playground in grades school when they are in their 50’s. It has to be guilt, a failure to be to be happy with who they are. I have stopped making comments on these blogs, it always turns into a personal attack and it is never about the subject. It would be nice to be able to discuss facts but it always about feelings and emotions and blame. I get tired of hearing the same old bullshit about Bush, while he is far from my favorite president this countries’ problems didn’t start with him. I don’t understand a culture of forgiving the Muslims, and the refusal to acknowledge that this is a war that has a purpose of changing our way of life and converting or killing those that don’t bow down to this religion. I don’t understand electing a president because of his skin color and overlooking his lack of experience. I don’t understand constant attacks on an elected governor because she happens to be attractive. I cannot understand this countries refusal to put terms limits on all elected offices. I do understand I am responsible for me and my acts. I believe in the constitution and without it this country would not be the country it is. I understand there is a need for opposition and compromise but the basic values of this country should never be compromised. This country is based on a promise of equal opportunity and equal rights for basic human requirements . I can’t find anywhere where we are promised a life free of challenges, heartaches, war or hunger. We are not promised good health, riches or prosperity. I really don’t want to hear a damn thing about people being oppressed, there are too many success stories out there for that to hold water. Life is about choices, responsibility and results, that is something hard core liberals don’t seem to grasp.

Health Care and is Ted still Dead?

The liberal news world is having a damn party. Its Ted this and Ted that, you would think the son of a bitch will rise from the grave in three days and drop kick Jesus through the goal posts of life. I am waiting for the order to lower the flag to half staff in memory of a great national hero.
I absolutely love the bloggy world, no where else can I go to read so many opinions of life from so many fucked up people. How in the world can someone right about how to fight a war who has never been in the military or even around the military? I do believe in education but education is not experience, education is the beginning of the answer to a problem. You can read all the books you want about the theory of flight but until you actually fly an airplane or a helicopter its all theory. You can read every diet book in the world but until you actually start a diet your not going to lose a fucking pound. You can read about a fire fight but until you have actually had your asshole crawl up to your throat you have only theory. I found liberals to be great on theory and damn weak on application and I have found conservatives so set in their ways that they refuse to look at a different solution because the old solution kind of half ass worked.
Now that the background is out there on too my view of health care. I am not a doctor and I didn’t stay at a Holiday Inn last night so that shit is out of the window. I have been luck and been fairly healthy and since I spend a vast portion of my life in the military health care bills have not been a major concern for the most part. My present employer has an insurance plan that I use to supplement my retired military benefits which I use to cover those thing that the retired military no long covers. It seems that health care for life for retired military promised by the recruiter had some holes that developed as I progressed through my military career. Well that’s ok, I am use to the truth changing to fit the situation. I did have an eye opening experience about health care when I ended up in the hospital a few years ago for a heart episode, which what they call in now days. Well after spending almost twenty four hours in the hospital and getting a mild cleaning out and a fancy stint I was all ok. Well the bills showed up, and being basically stupid about such things I was floored. I figured one hospital , one bill just like if I took my car down to the dealers for a tune up. Oh no, nay , not to be, multiple bills from multiple people which makes it a real bitch to figure out how much this thing actually cost. Did I mention it took a few months for said bills to show up, saying basically this is not a bill. I haven’t figured that part out yet. The interesting part was the original hospital bill was around $42,000.00 the insurance company said they would only pay $16,000, which the hospital accepted. The high cost on the original bill was to pay for overhead and for profit. Now imagine what would happen under a government run system. I am betting the hospital would get at a minimum $42,000.00 and taxpayers will pick that up. Health care is broken to be sure and it was broken by lawyers, investors and just pure greed. Can it be fixed? I have no idea but it is still the best in the world. Where else can you walk in an emergency room at 2pm with a heart attack and be out the next day by noon?

Not much more I can add to the title. I am sure there a plenty of the politically correct praising that fat, perverted, lying, murdering piece of shit, but don’t look for it here. FUCK HR AND THE COW THEY RODE IN ON

It must be a law that if a woman is in charge of HR and for the most part they are, they have to be stark raving fucking self centered bitch. If by chance an HR type wanders by, here is a fucking clue,,,,,THE REASON HR EXIST’S IS BECAUSE THE COMPANY HAS TO PUT UP WITH YOUR BULLSHIT,,,,,,,,,,. The second part of this is if there are no people there is no reason for do nothing HR section. As for the ex HR manager who is bawling her eyes out and packing her shit, you were warned, don’t fuck with me or my people bitch. I guess the dumbass forgot when the boss is gone for an extended period some one takes over, the idea that it would be me probably never crossed her self centered fucking empty head. Oh and for the record, you fired yourself by fucking over my employee’s and I don’t have a problem with you running to the corporate HR dickheads. The new really big boss doesn’t have much use for HR either.

Can someone tell me why the government is going to give grants to hospitals to go digital? Why are we paying hospitals to do something they will do anyway to become more efficient? If the hospitals don’t want to go digital the Insurance companies and Doctors will force them or the hospital will go out of business. I can see all the libs out there doing a happy dance and claiming the patients won’t have to pay for this. They of course don’t mind spending everyone’s tax dollars to do shit that way outside the government authority. Then again our loving all knowing government shoved HD television down our throats with out so much as a reach around.
